Join artist Nicki Lang and grief therapist Erin Leedom on an afternoon retreat exploring how we can move through grief using art, writing, and cold-water swimming.

Nicki will share how these three things have helped her bear the grief of losing her sister and her parents, and invite participants to engage in guided activities. Erin will co-facilitate drawing from her 20 years of experience helping kids, teens and adults navigate the murky waters of grief and trauma.

Whatever your grief, you are invited to come and share and gain tools for helping you stay afloat.

The retreat will begin at 1pm with an opening circle, followed by a watercolor activity. Then we will take a plunge! (Full submersion encouraged but not required :). We’ll follow that with a bonfire and some writing and reflection and a closing blessing at 5pm. There will be an optional happy hour time afterwards to enjoy the beach and continue conversations over the fire.

No art, writing or swimming experience necessary :). Feel free to email Nicki for more details: nicki.lang.studio@gmail.com
